  3. Pour hydrogen peroxide in the bong. The bigger your tool is, the more you will have to use.
  4. Once you have your hydrogen peroxide in the bong, close all the openings with your hands and shake hard to remove all the stains. In case there is a lot of build-up resin, you can shake, then add Epsom salt or coarse salt, and shake again.
  5. If the steps above are not enough, it might be necessary to empty the hydrogen peroxide into a sink and fill the bong again with it. Then, let the cleaning agent sit for 12 hours.
  6. Once all the stains are removed, rinse with warm water thoroughly. Let it dry and use a Q-tip for those hidden parts of your bong to remove excess moisture.

Cleaning a Pipe with Hydrogen Peroxide

Cleaning a pipe with hydrogen peroxide might vary in difficulty depending on its size. However, it is easier for this kind of smoking tool to accumulate more resin, since the bowl and air channels are smaller than those of a bong.

To clean a pipe with hydrogen peroxide, follow these steps:

  1. Take a sealable bag or container and fill it with hydrogen peroxide. The quantity should be enough to fully submerge your pipe.
  2. You can either add a teaspoon of Epsom salt or coarse salt to the hydrogen peroxide. Salt acts as a scrubber, making it easier to take off the resin.
  3. If you are using a container, let the pipe soak in it for at least 12 hours. This way, the hydrogen peroxide will dissolve all the dirt. You can also follow this step if you are using a sealable bag.
  4. Once the 12 hours have passed, shake the bag to remove the residual resin. Please do not follow this step is you are using a container, since it could break the pipe.
  5. After following the steps above, take your pipe and rinse it off thoroughly with warm water and some dish soap. Check if all the stains have been removed. If not, repeat the process with fresh salt and hydrogen peroxide. You can also use a Q-tip or a paperclip to remove any residual resin.
